Austin's Place

Austin's Place is the only emergency women's shelter in Champaign County. Run by local volunteers who stay overnight, transport guests, do laundry, collect donations, and much more. They are open every night from 8pm to 7am.

Emergency Shelter for Families

Providing short-term emergency shelter for homeless families with children in Champaign County. During the shelter stay, ESF provides case management support to assist families in identifying permanent housing and other community resources they may need.

C-U At Home
Phoenix Daytime Drop-in Center

The Phoenix is a casual, welcoming space with a living room, computers, board games, musical instruments, and most importantly, companionship. The Phoenix opens for emergency warming or cooling hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for these situations, but the hours may be different as it is decided on a case by case basis.
