Text to Give
First United Methodist Church of Urbana offers the opportunity to give by text, using a credit or debit card. The process is very easy: Send the amount you want to give in a text message to 217-469-5642. You’ll be directed to enter your payment information, and then you will receive a confirmation text of your donation. If you give again using a text, you will not need to enter your card information, just the amount of your gift. If you want to give to something other than the operating fund, text “Fund” to see other options for giving. Then text an amount and the fund you want your donation to go to, for example “25 FUMCU Disaster Response.” All transactions by text are managed by Vanco, who already administers our electronic giving program.

Offering Envelopes
Offering envelopes can be mailed to your home or picked up at the Church for First United Methodist Church of Urbana members and friends once a year. These envelopes may be brought to worship or mailed to the church. An assigned envelope number allows Urbana First's Finance Administrator to track your giving and provide year-end giving statements.
