Hello, Urbana First United Family!

 

Every year, after meeting with our worship planning staff to discuss ideas about possible upcoming sermon series, I go on retreat to sketch out the next 12 months of worship. This high-level outline is then revisited by our full team and planned in much greater detail. Accompanying adult studies will be added and discussed. Music begins to be planned. Special programming is detailed. Guest speakers are booked. As the year unfolds, we can always modify our plans to respond to the emerging needs of our church, community, and world. But this process broadly guides the many ministries of our loving and growing family of faith.

 

It’s once again planning time, as we begin to think and dream about the coming year. Between now and Christmas Sunday, we’ll begin planning for 2025. To help do that, we’d love your feedback about what types of sermon series are most meaningful and important to you in your spiritual journey. 

 

Below is a link to a brief set of questions for you to prayerfully consider. The survey will be open until Friday, December 15th, and I hope you’ll tell us what’s on your mind. Because life together is more fruitful when we collaborate about the spiritual questions that are most important to us.
